A number of teachers and representatives of civil and local organisations demonstrated in front of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research due to misunderstanding a decision made by the ministry.

In this demonstration, which was organised on Wednesday, 15th of March, 2017, the protesters read a paper and in that paper, they requested the council of Higher Education and Scientific Research to rethink and pay a greater attention about " calculating the total marks of Kurdish language and Arabic according to their desires "
